New game - "Project GhostFox"


We started this game we're codenaming "Project GhostFox" or just "GhostFox". I'm coding and Aaron Hamilton is arting. Fully made in GameMaker with the goal to release on the Switch (once the GameMaker Switch export module releases this year).

We started a little over 2 months ago. Spent a few nights throwing ideas at the wall deciding what we wanted to make and coming up with creative ways to make a 3/4 top down perspective combat game feel fresh, new, and inviting for non-gamers. Around a month ago, we started a prototype and I posted some #screenshotsaturday gifs of our sandbox to twitter. Making a sandbox with a rough GDD is a great way to 1) see if the game could be fun and 2) give us time to decide what we really want to make. After reworking our GDD, we are now starting to shape our sandbox into the full game. I'm psyched with the direction we're heading!
